Gone Fur the Weekend is an in-home pet sitting service that caters to the needs of your pets with no unnecessary cost.
Most pets are comfortable in a routine and area that they are familiar with. Being at home and sticking to the same feeding time and walking route is the best way to avoid stress. Boarding your pet can cause unnecessary stress by upsetting your pet’s schedule entirely.
Boarding facilities work by sticking with a strict schedule and maintaining that schedule throughout the day. This means there are limited potty breaks and playtimes unless you don’t mind paying an additional fee to have your pet taken out again. This new schedule as well as the new surroundings and smells create a high-stress environment for our furry friends that can affect their eating habits, drinking habits, and mental wellbeing.
Gone Fur the Weekend sees your pet for the individual they are and aims to fit their needs and schedule to keep their tails wagging!
What makes GFTW different?
I get it, there are thousands of different pet sitters to chose from so why choose us? What makes GFTW different from all of the other pet sitters out there?
The main difference is that we are willing and want to work with you and your pet to give them the best staycation this side of the Mississippi!
We make sure that every pet is comfortable with us before their staycation by having a meet and greet in the client’s home; a place where the pet feels safe and secure.
We also adhere to your pet’s feeding, medication, and exercise schedule to keep them happy and healthy. And while other pet sitters only stop by for a half-hour, all of our visits are a full hour at no additional cost.
GFTW is comfortable with pets of all shapes, sizes, and medical needs. We know that not every pet is alike and have the experience of taking care of pets from all walks of life.
Our goal is to provide compassionate and attentive care within the comforts of home. Making sure that all members of the family have the vacation they deserve.
